Roles are bucketed into six categories (Contract Manager / Negotiator, CLM / Systems, Legal Operations Manager, E-Billing / Vendor Mgmt, Project / Program Manager, Legal Counsel) plus Other. The board refreshes daily via cron pulls from public ATS feeds (Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby). Open-role count is a signal of hiring velocity, not company quality, compensation, or team size. A company with one open role may have a larger legal ops team than one with ten — it is simply hiring less actively right now.
